2014 - 2015 SCHOOL YEAR
WELCOME STUDENTS and FAMILIES!!
This year I have been assigned to Grades 2 & 3 and I look forward to an interesting and exciting new year! It will be fun to loop with my students from first grade and I will see some old friends from two years ago in my third grade classes. My teaching career includes 8 years in preschool, 6 years in 1st grade, and now both 2nd and 3rd grades giving me experience teaching each one of the early childhood grades. This gives me a unique perspective on student growth, as well as a realistic picture of how students with special needs learn and change as they meet the challenges of each new grade.
I am looking forward to an exciting new year!
Thank you for sharing your children with me!
Summertime
HAVE A SAFE AND HAPPY SUMMER!!  Thanks for sharing your children with me.  We had a great year!  I'm so excited that I will see them back next year now that we are neighborhood schools.  I will enjoy watching them grow!

Save the Songbirds Project
Students in Mr. Fitzgerald and Mrs. Krasinski's class have been participating in our "save the sogbirds" project.
Thank you to all the parents who sent in water bottles for bird feeders and dryer fluff to fill nesting bags!  We have worked hard to create a bird friendly habitat in our courtyard complete with bird feeders, a bird bath, flowers to attract the birds and nesting bags for them to build nests!  We have been studying native birds, identifying their attributes and what they need in their environment.  We are hoping to have a guest speaker come to school to tell us more about birds in our area.
